Meet Sonora House Events

We are an intentionally small studio, taking on a limited number of weddings each year to provide a highly personalized and detail-driven experience. When you work with us, you work directly with the team behind the design and execution of your celebration.

Our work takes us wherever meaningful and beautifully designed events unfold. From the mountains of Colorado—Aspen, Vail, Telluride, Steamboat, Boulder, Breckenridge, Beaver Creek, Estes Park, and beyond—to destinations across the country, we bring a thoughtful and refined approach to every setting.

In addition to floral design, we offer wedding coordination services to ensure each event is not only visually cohesive, but also seamlessly executed from start to finish.

Founder & Creative Director

Chuck Hutson

Chuck began his floral design career in 2006, working in destinations including Chicago, Hawaii, Aspen, San Diego, Scottsdale, Nashville, and Denver. In 2016, he founded Hutson Floral Design, creating a studio known for thoughtful, elevated floral design inspired by nature, color, texture, and movement.

In 2026, Hutson Floral Design evolved into Sonora House Events, expanding beyond florals to offer wedding planning, coordination, and event design. While our name has changed, our commitment to creating beautiful, intentional, and unforgettable celebrations remains the same.
